I am trying to create an environment with Python 3.4.2 in order to have compatibility with a device I am using. I have tried the below in the conda prompt,

```auto
conda create --name my_env python=3.4
```

however I get the following error:

```auto
PackagesNotFoundError: The following packages are not available from current channels:
  - python=3.4
Current channels:
  - https://conda.anaconda.org/anaconda-fusion/win-64
  - https://conda.anaconda.org/anaconda-fusion/noarch
  - https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/main/win-64
  - https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/main/noarch
  - https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/r/win-64
  - https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/r/noarch
  - https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/msys2/win-64
  - https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/msys2/noarch
To search for alternate channels that may provide the conda package you're
looking for, navigate to
    https://anaconda.org
and use the search bar at the top of the page.
It seems Python 3.4 is no longer supported on Anaconda. I was wondering if there is a way to get Python 3.4 onto an environment without having to install an old version of Anaconda
dear [edward.deacon](https://forum.anaconda.com/u/edward.deacon).
we apologize for the late reply.
Basically, I would appreciate it if you could think that a Python program is almost the same as the schedule of the Fedor system even in Linux.
Current python version is 3.11. The release date for your desired version, 3.4, is 2019/3/4.
Fedora (Red Hat) releases a new version every six months, and removes old versions every year.
So to get the oldest Python version, it would be 11-2 or the earlier 11-3.
So Python3.09 or Python3.08.
Although there is a registry in Anaconda, I think that it cannot be installed because the underlying binary does not exist.
If you want to install it temporarily, I think the only way is to download the source code from [Python.Org](http://Python.Org) and compile it.
Best regards.
