I’ve contributed new features for codebases used by startups, Fast growth series D, fortune 500, and FAANG organizations - I’ve reviewed issues and PRs coming in from both open source communities as well as internal teams, and am capable of diving into source code to improve the overall architecture of an application as a whole via researched backed best practices and refactors.

I always encourage a team culture of learning and knowledge sharing and have published 120+ screencasts and 50+ blogs teaching software best practices via my personal YouTube channel and blog. I’ve also been invited to speak at college university teaching SOLID design pattern best practices to computer science majors.

I make the most out of each day by identifying repetitive manual tasks and finding solutions to automate them out of daily workflows - a process I believe to be important because it not only delivers results but also proves that you truly value the time of your engineers and team as a whole.

I’ve led technical meetings and have actively contributed ideas towards the delivery of results across teams and departments and have personally mentored other engineers on their tasks and overall career direction. I’ve grown and led engineering culture by leading classes on team-best practices, encouraging top-notch documentation, and standardizing software development processes to normalize teamwork workflows in a consistent way.

I am experienced in server-less distributed systems via AWS, web apps via LAMP/MERN tech stacks, native desktop apps via Electron, and have used Linux - Mac - & Windows OS within my professional environments.

I have 6+ years of experience with JavaScript, PHP, CSS, HTML, Git, & agile/scrum best practices with specialized expertise in the Laravel PHP and Vue JS frameworks.

I’ve created unit and integration tests during the delivery of features for open source, start-up, fast-growth series D, Fortune 500, & FAANG codebases.

I’ve led large company initiatives and have built products from the ground up including the implementation of an Admin portal for a Fortune 500 company at VMLY&R as well as the delivery of Amazon’s Echo Show 15 widgets feature.

I’ve implemented API’s based on Open API specifications and GraphQL, set up team dev environments using Docker & Vagrant, and have implemented CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment projects for usage across several teams.
