I can find some old notes on this online, but I have just deployed the latest versions as a fresh build to a new PC and it still exists today.

Python 3.13.5
Jupyter Lab 4.4.6, Notebook 7.4.5
Windows 11 Pro
Every time I launch Anaconda Toolbox to add a new env/project from the GUI the “thing” creates me a new “untitledX.ipynb” and they are all in the base environment, even if I’m working in a sub-environment.
Is this an expected behaviour? It seems to come from Jupyter not Anaconda itself.
Is there a quick fix as these files are rapidly building up.
