I occasionally use Anaconda for maths work. The recent introduction (to me) of anaconda assistant was very useful. Unfortunately I seem to have an absolute limit of 30 questions rather than a daily limit. The last time I managed to get any assistance was around 5 days ago and I thought I had 30 queries a day on the free tier.
Are you using Local Notebooks? Currently, there is a hard limit for using the Assistant with Local Notebooks. You can switch to Cloud Notebooks to get free daily requests or upgrade your subscription to keep using the Assistant in Local Notebooks.
Also, we recently announced the Anaconda for Education. Introducing Anaconda for Education: Empowering the Academic Community | Anaconda If you qualify, by signing up for a free Anaconda for Education account, you should also be able to use Anaconda Assistant locally beyond the current limit you’ve hit.
Thanks for clarifying that for me.

Hello,
I’m a teacher in the University of Strasbourg, France. I’m using Jupyter Lab with Anaconda Assistant for treating my laboratory data, and for doing simulations for the courses of my students. I would really loved to use Anaconda Assistant without daily limit, but somehow my university mail address is not valid for being qualified for educational account.
Could you please clarify what are the criteria?
Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out - for cases like this, Anaconda recommends emailing Anaconda User Care: [email protected]
Thanks for the help, I have just sent the message.
I have the $15 subscription but I am receiving the message … You have reached the maximum number of requests for today. Upgrade to increase the number of daily requests .. for both the local notebook and the cloud notebook. Could you please advise?
This is a very informative post about the daily limits of Anaconda Assistant. Understanding such limits is important for both beginners and advanced users to manage their tasks efficiently without interruptions. From the perspective of educonnectnormandie.online, learning how to use tools effectively and stay within their limits is crucial for productivity, time management, and overall learning growth. Platforms like Anaconda Assistant are great, but combining them with structured learning habits and proper planning ensures maximum benefit and consistent progress.
