Hi ,

we are encountering the timeout issues and performance issues accessing the below url since couple of weeks.

The connection intermittently works fine and stops responding

https://conda.anaconda.org/conda-forge/linux-64/repodata.json.Due to this ,we are encountering

#13 271.1 HTTP errors are often intermittent, and a simple retry will get you on your way.

Hi @Sunitha1 ! Thanks for the report. We are already working on performance improvements. Could you give me more info to make sure our current work will help you? Can you tell me what you were doing/what commands you were using when you got these errors? Are you only seeing it for that specific URL? And any other info you think is relevant. Thanks!

our users are having timeouts and every time we try to query the endpoint - https://conda.anaconda.org/conda-forge/linux-64/repodata.json from Artifactory remote repo , we are encountering the timeouts.

sometimes the connection is fine and other times it keeps timing out

Hi @Lilly ,

we noticed our proxy is blocking the download of files above 400Mb.

As this https://conda.anaconda.org/conda-forge/linux-64/repodata.json file is 400.9MB, its getting blocked .is it possible for you to publish the compressed version of the https://conda.anaconda.org/conda-forge/linux-64/repodata.json to less than 400mb to resolve the issue from our end.
