Rate Limit Exceeded error

Just downloaded Anaconda and tried to create an environment. Got a “rate limit exceeded” error. What gives ? I do work in a large govt. funded lab. Is it possibly checking IP addresses and flagging me as a commercial customer ?

Hi! Anaconda support can help you look into this. You can submit a request on this site: https://support.anaconda.com/hc/en-us (Submit a request at the top right). They’ll be able to look at the IP

I figured it out. Anaconda has turned on a license requirement for our good-sized lab. Hence the error. I guess I’ll have to NOT use Anaconda from now on.
