I installed anaconda 3 weeks ago and everything worked right until i ran
conda update conda
conda update --all
and now i get an error whenever i open spyder or ipython that says :
Error while loading conda entry point: repo (cannot import name 'CondaSubcommand' from 'conda.plugins' (/home/reidkb/anaconda3/lib/python3.14/site‑packages/conda/plugins/__init__.py))
i tried removing and reinstalling anaconda and that does not help .
