Spyder closes immediately on startup

When I invoke Spyder, either from Anaconda Navigator or from a command prompt, it quits immediately (1-2 seconds) after opening. I get this error message:

Spyder version is 6.1.5. I have recently redownloaded Anaconda after uninstalling old versions, and the error/issue persists. I have used Spyder for years without problems before this.

Thanks for taking your time filing this issue. It sounds like you have rendering issues, I would suggest you file an issue directly to the maintainers of Spyder, see: Issues · spyder-ide/spyder · GitHub
