Admittedly I am a novice on Anaconda. But I have spent more than 25 years setting up environments in Linux and even in UNIX. I am close to removing Anaconda and going for a much simpler environment. I have no idea how to trace where what environmental variable is set where.
I am somewhat disappointed with how complex everything is on the Windows install. All I want to be able to do is inherit the environment from QGIS, an opensource package for GIS, so I can edit in spyder. That is all I want to do!
