Cannot sign in into anaconda account

I just installed anacond on my laptop and cannot open anacond on my laptop due to problem with signing in. Should i download any aditional apps.

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry you’re hitting this right after install.

You don’t need any extra Anaconda apps. Sign-in opens your default web browser so you can log in with your Anaconda account. The error you’re seeing usually means Windows couldn’t open a browser for that step.

Please try the following:

  1. Make sure a browser is installed (Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Firefox).
  2. Set it as the default for web links:
    Settings → Apps → Default apps → choose your browser → set it as default for HTTP and HTTPS.
  3. Confirm a normal website opens (e.g. https://www.anaconda.com).
  4. Open Anaconda Desktop again and click Sign In.
