Sharing the anaconda.org product roadmap

Thanks for working hard on this, and the way you’ve been gathering feedback and communicating openly :flexed_biceps:. Agreed that sharded repodata is the biggest win and priority right now. Unified login sounds great as well!

In addition to my metrics wishes that you’re already aware of, some more minor improvements that would make my life easier:

  • support bulk operations on labels
  • a way to get structured information from a list of selected artefacts (e.g. download to JSON)

Does this apply to only Python or will R be included in these plans? At the moment, it doesn’t seem possible to install an up-to-date R environment using Anaconda, so it would be great to know if R is part of the road-map future of Anaconda.

Hi @Christopher4 ! Please stay tuned for an announcement about R support at Anaconda (CC @Tyler2 who is working on that). This roadmap I posted is specific to the user experience around anaconda.org.
